FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to compete in powerlifting to work with you?

Not at all. I coach beginners, general strength clients, and athletes returning from a break, alongside competitive powerlifters. Programming is built around your goals, not mine.

I'm a complete beginner. Is online coaching right for me?

Yes - several of my clients started with zero strength-training experience. You'll get exercise demos, written cues, and weekly video form review so you build technique safely from day one.

What equipment do I need?

A barbell, plates, and a rack cover most of it. If you train at a commercial gym you're set. For home setups I'll work with what you have and adjust accessories accordingly.

How long until I see results?

Most clients see strength jumps in the first 4-6 weeks, with bigger structural changes (technique, body composition, top-end strength) over 3-6 months. Consistency matters more than program perfection.

How does the weekly check-in work?

Each week you submit a short check-in (training feel, weight, sleep, photos if you want) plus form videos. I review, adjust your next week's programming, and reply with feedback.

What happens if I travel or get sick?

Life happens. Message me and we'll adjust - swap days, deload, or pause the week. Online coaching is designed to flex around your schedule.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes, 6 months. Strength is a long game and meaningful changes need a full training block to show up. After that it's month-to-month.

Do you handle meet day?

Attempt selection and all meet-prep planning are included in the prep plan. In-person meet-day handling at the platform is a separate paid add-on if you want me there.
